Krung Thonburi-Khlong San area is another great livable neighborhood in Bangkok. It's considered a riverside Thonburi location close to the city center with convenient transportation via the Green Line BTS at Krung Thonburi station, which connects to Saphan Taksin station on the Phra Nakhon side. From there, it's also easy to drive onto Sathorn Nuea Road leading into the Sathorn-Silom CBD. This Thonburi-Khlong San area is also home to the iconic ICONSIAM mega mall, a major riverside landmark. The Gold Line monorail extension connects Krung Thonburi station with Khlong San station as well. This makes the Wong Wian Yai circle a major community hub lined with local shops, street food stalls along the roads, and major hospitals like Taksin Hospital, Samitivej Thonburi Hospital, and Somdet Phra Pinklao hospital. Housing in the area consists mostly of single houses, townhomes, shophouses along the sois, and riverside condos along Charoen Nakhon Road.
